Executives – Underwriting Dept
Insurance company dept job Responsibilities:
- Provide technical advice to intermediaries/direct clients and staff where necessary.
- Underwrite and assess quotations in accordance with guidelines and coordinate risks surveys (where necessary) or secure reinsurance support before any acceptance of cover/quotation.
- Assist in the revision of policy coverage, premium, terms and conditions;
- Carry out analytical market research and intelligence, in consultation with Head of Section.
- Assist in the compiling and analyzing of statistical data for various insurance classes;
- Identify preferred intermediaries and develop close rapport and support through marketing visits.
- Conduct underwriting audit to ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines for various departments;
Career requirements insurance :
- Possess good interpersonal and communications skills
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Diploma/Degree holder or ACII/AAII qualifications and equivalent preferred
- Able to multi-task, and is a team player, conscientious, tactful and willing to learn new skills
- Organized and has the ability to work under pressure
- Able to work independently and interact with different levels of customers
